Thomas Merville Jones is noted as a pilot with 438 Squadron. He is written up in Typhoon and Tempest by Hugh Halliday on pages 123, 151, 180 and 187, with a notation that Jones was feared killed after he was hit by flak in Typhoon RB323 on April 25, 1945. He was able to bale out. He became a PoW.
